One of the best things to come out of 2020, Futurebound’s “Dangerous” has become something of a cult classic since its release. And so, unsurprisingly, when the label hosted a remix competition for the track, there were hundreds of entries from all corners of the globe. Finally, label head honcho and OG producer Futurebound was able to narrow it down, thus giving birth to the Dangerous Remix EP.
First up and official winner of the competition comes from Doloren. Maintaining the infectious energy of the original, Doloren wowed with his twist on the drop, a seamless transition into explosive euphoria.
The remix EP also features 10xx, who debuted on the label as part of the Future Fire series. Now returning, their remix brings the drama, with a well-crafted, futuristic, and totally danceable vibe throughout.
Clarkey brings a darker edge to the EP, with sharper notes cutting through for a more contemporary sound, while Yellock speeds things up and delivers a more nostalgic sound.
With four brand new reimagining's of Futurebound’s classic record, the Dangerous Remix EP has something for everyone and is a great end to a massive year for Viper.
