“A new update to the DAW I use (Logic) was recently released, and along with this update came new plugins that I was eager to test, one of them is Bass Studio, a bass emulator. I thought I'd try to make some bass lines and soon a simple melody came up that I needed to turn into a song, something funky... so I started making a very swinging drum kit, completing it with pads and other elements. Consequently, the need for a female vocal came up to bring a delicate and at the same time tense touch, and thus the song Body by Body was born. A simple test of a new tool brought me a new track and a new joy.”
Winding up the release is “pump That” a naughty party favourite, booming gritty basslines and tight drum work, hard hitting synths that will get your party started.
