Release Date: 03 oct 2026
Label: Volatile Soundscapes
Strong E.P marks an important milestone for UK jungle and drum & bass producer Danny Jenk, serving as his debut EP release on a US label. Released through Los Angeles-based Volatile Soundscapes, the four-track collection showcases a producer firmly rooted in the foundations of jungle while bringing his own contemporary edge to the sound.
Across the EP, Danny Jenk delivers a selection of tracks packed with rolling breaks, deep bass pressure and the kind of energy that has kept jungle music thriving for decades. Each tune carries its own character, taking listeners through different moods and textures while maintaining a cohesive identity from start to finish.
The production throughout is polished and purposeful. Classic jungle influences sit comfortably alongside modern engineering, creating tracks that feel equally suited to underground raves, radio shows and home listening sessions. Rather than relying on nostalgia alone, Strong E.P demonstrates a clear understanding of how to keep the genre moving forward while respecting its roots.
As a debut release on an American label, Strong E.P represents another step forward in Danny Jenk's journey as an artist, extending his reach beyond the UK scene and introducing his music to a wider international audience. The partnership with Volatile Soundscapes feels like a natural fit, with both artist and label sharing a passion for authentic jungle music and heavyweight bass culture.
For longtime followers of Danny Jenk's productions, the EP is a strong statement of intent. For new listeners discovering his music through Volatile Soundscapes, it serves as an excellent introduction to a producer dedicated to the craft of jungle and drum & bass.
Strong E.P is a confident, well-crafted debut on US soil and a release that highlights Danny Jenk's continuing growth as both a producer and ambassador for underground bass music.
