John B, Magellan Starchild and The Young Punx team up on In My Mind (out September 12), a high-octane, anthemic Drum & Bass cover of the global smash hit originally by Dynoro and Gigi D’Agostino. With the instantly recognisable vocal fully replayed and reimagined, this version transforms one of the most streamed tracks of the past decade (1.6 billion+ Spotify streams) into a peak-time festival weapon built for the DNB dancefloor. Fans of Sub Focus, Wilkinson, Grafix and Kanine will feel right at home, but John B’s cinematic, futuristic touch takes it to another level.
The collaboration with Magellan Starchild and The Young Punx brings a streamlined, precision production that perfectly balances underground credibility with huge mainstream appeal. The Young Punx’ history includes performances on some of the world’s biggest stages, including arena shows in Japan, now channeled into this forward-looking Drum & Bass anthem. In My Mind follows hot off the success of John B’s recent singles Vielleicht Vielleicht, Pure Shores, Borderline, Halo Theme and Das Boot, which have cemented him as one of the most versatile and ambitious names in Drum & Bass.
2025 has already been a standout year: John B has passed 30,000 Twitch followers, smashed it at Coal Castle Festival in the Czech Republic, and is set for a headline show at Halloween Fever in Heidelberg on Nov 1. He also continues to celebrate his legacy with a special Blue Note era DNB Classics set at the Hospitality Weekender 2026, performing alongside legends like DJ Hype, Ray Keith, Nicky Blackmarket and more. Looking ahead, his highly anticipated new album Found In Rave drops on November 14 (more on that soon).
In My Mind is John B, Magellan Starchild and The Young Punx at their most ambitious and accessible, a huge, hands-in-the-air Drum & Bass anthem with massive commercial potential, destined for big things across clubs, festivals, playlists and beyond.
