For more than a decade, German duo Neonlight have stood at the forefront of modern Drum & Bass. Since launching their project in 2009, they have built a reputation for a sound that merges intricate musicality, bold melodic writing, and hard-edged dancefloor Neurofunk. Their catalogue spans across acclaimed labels such as Blackout, Eatbrain, RAM, Vision and Lifted Music to name a few, and their collaborations with heavyweights like Black Sun Empire, Mefjus, State of Mind, and Pythius have only strengthened their status as one of the scene’s most influential forces. Now, they take another major step forward with their massive debut single on the artist-led Evolution Chamber: “Purple Radiance.”

“Purple Radiance” opens with calm atmospherics in the first 16 bars, slowly pulling the listener into an eerie yet elegant soundscape. The tension rises as Neonlight guide the track into a widening breakdown bridge, where the bold, commanding main synth riff emerges. The drop erupts into a massive triplet-grooved dancefloor weapon, with the lead riff carrying the full weight of the rhythm.
