Jakob Reid, better known as R3IDY, is a talented young producer from Burton On Trent, who first came to our attention with his production on ‘Enamour’ with Teej and Visionobi back in 2025. We were so impressed with his approach to making music, that we simply had to land a solo release - and he has more than delivered with the 3-track ‘Clones’ EP.

Title track ‘Clones’ is a progressive powerhouse, opening with a cascading, trickling synth line and percussive elements; including what feels like the impending doom of bomb’s clock. On the drop we’re suited to a series of creeping, eerie basslines, congas and beefy, clipped breaks.

Landing in all good stores on Friday the 9th of October, don’t sleep on Clones.
