We welcome Sasith Gamage, aka IYRE, back to Soulvent for his first solo release since his 2025 UKG single ‘UK Flavour’ with the talented vocal stylings of PAV4N, one half of highly-acclaimed UK duo Foreign Beggars. This time IYRE is back to the 174 tempo and familiar drum patterns that we know and love. Recently having moved from Sri Lanka to the UK, we are proud to be able to release some of the first music from IYRE made on home soil.‘Kh4msin’ takes its inspiration from the oil fields of Asia, with the flourishes and panache that we have come to know and love from IYRE’s cultured productions.The word Khamsin takes its origins from the hot, dusty winds which blow across deserts and plains across the far East and the swirling intro brings in eastern flavours with industrial atmospherics before the drop blasts you in the face with gnarly bass notes and progressive drum work.
