Amper was born out of a period when NERV3 truly turned back to the roots of drum & bass — to the golden era of neurofunk, to that sound charged with metal, overheated circuits, dark clubs, and pure nervous tension.

This was never about nostalgia, and never about copying an old formula. It was more like a moment of inner alignment — the point where two forces that had always existed side by side suddenly revealed themselves as part of the same language. Electricity — wires, switchboards, installation work, current, risk, precision. And drum & bass — bass pressure, signal flow, overload, mechanical motion. For years, both had been there, running in parallel, almost instinctively, until they finally became something conscious.

In Amper, that personal story turns into sound. Here, golden era neurofunk is not filtered through a museum lens, but through the hands of someone who understands how current behaves — how it builds up, how it hits, how it hums through the walls, clicks through a connection, grounds itself, or breaks loose in a dangerous surge.

That is exactly what holds this EP together: the feeling of old neurofunk energy being wired back into a modern system. Heavy low end, cold mechanics, industrial tension, and inner control all lock into one circuit. This is not a look back for the sake of the past — it is an attempt to take that original charge, run it through lived experience, and make it work here and now.

Amper sounds like the moment when chaos becomes a scheme for the first time. When current, music, and personal history meet at one point — dark, tense, and dangerously alive.
