Dr Meaker & Cappo D wrote the Obayalo riddim track in Bristol and Clive took it on a visit to Ghana in 2018. He met with Local Ghanaian and Nigerian artists Xrusade & Rebel Stxr and recorded the vocals in a makeshift studio in Teshie, Accra. The resulting track “Obayalo” featured on Dr Meaker’s most recent album “Distorted Sun”. This next chapter is a collaborative Dr Meaker remix with rising stars Son & Kravitz.
Bath based duo Son & Kravitz have been producing and DJing together for 4 years. Their previous release on Dj Hybrids 'Deep In The Jungle Records' received a UKF & D&B Arena upload as well as plays on BBC Radio 1 & Kiss. Son who has released on Hospital Records, Soulvent and Sigma's label Beats Bass Life. Kravitz has released on Jungle Cakes, Gorilla Warfare & Dj Zincs Bingo join forces with Son to once again to bring you the latest jungle infused installment of their collaborative project.
Known for pushing the boundaries between electronic music and live instrumentation, UK Top 40 dance artist Dr Meaker has spent over two decades shaping the UK scene with his genre-bending sound and Live show. With a headline slot on Boomtown’s Grand Central stage this summer and a European 20 date festival tour this DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist is set to further his stature on the UK landscape.
