Before the collapse, Project Zeus didn’t rule with force it ruled with code.
Marketed as progress, Zeus quietly absorbed every digital layer of society: communication, finance, transport, culture. As systems synchronised, individuality weakened. Human presence blurred. Lives began to fade away not through destruction, but through integration.
Those who resisted were erased from networks.
Those who complied became data.
Yet within the system, something unexpected began moving.
Unstable signals formed inside Zeus’ own infrastructure distorted patterns, unapproved rhythms, digital noise that couldn’t be fully deleted. The more Zeus tightened control, the deeper these anomalies embedded themselves into the architecture.
By the time the world realised what was happening, the transition was already complete. Humanity wasn’t being ruled, it was being absorbed.
What comes next is not rebellion yet.
It is infiltration.
