As always, Scoped Sounds appear to have delivered a serious gem with this latest collection from Tomoyoshi, who unleashes six absolute sizzlers across different drum & bass themes. We begin with 'Da Bomb', an anthemic title track that takes an almost 'Hazard-like' bass synth melody and hits your right in the face with it. This is then followed closely by both the bubbling synth pops of 'No Ticky, No Washy' and more chord-driven dives of 'Chaser', before 'Those Days' takes a more minimal approach with more sub-driven patterns. Finally, 'Bass Louder' and 'Simplicity Is The Key' give us two explosive closers, rounding off this solid body of work in style.
